Gary Katz, PT, ATC, CSCS is the President and Owner of Maryland SportsCare & Rehab and Co-Owner of Professional SportsCare & Rehab. His old-fashioned work ethic and dedication to treating patients with the utmost care has helped him create two of the largest physical therapist owned and managed companies in the Mid-Atlantic region.
In his work at Maryland SportsCare & Rehab and Professional SportsCare & Rehab, Gary Katz emphasizes delivering quality care to patients by providing comprehensive and expert physical therapy services, including general orthopedics, sports medicine, aquatic therapy, manual therapy, post-operative care, hand therapy, total joint rehab, spine rehab, arthritis and pain management, work injuries, wellness and fitness.
Gary Katz is a consultant to the NHL's Washington Capitals Hockey Team and is active with youth hockey. He has helped treat many other professional and collegiate athletes, including the United States men's weight lifting and women's gymnastics team at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Co. Katz is also a member of the American Physical Therapy Association, National Athletic Trainer Association, National Strength Training and Conditioning Association and often supports the Diabetes Research Institute as well as the Arthritis Association.
Gary graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physical Therapy and Athletic Training. He completed graduate level work in strength training and conditioning.
