Greg Smith, MS, ATC
Greg Smith is co-founder and owner of Professional SportsCare & Rehab. He is also Head Athletic Trainer of the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League, a position he has held for the past ten seasons, and a strength and condition consultant with various NHL and National Basketball Association (NBA) athletes.
Greg joined the Caps in 1999 from the Mighty Ducks of Anaheim where he was the Head Athletic Trainer for two seasons. He also served as trainer for Team USA at the 1998 World Hockey Championships and the American Hockey League's Baltimore Bandits.
A native of Bowie, Maryland, Greg received his Bachelor's degree in Physical Education with a concentration in Special Education from Salisbury State University. He holds a Master's degree in Athletic Training and a Physical Therapy Assistant degree, both from the California University of Pennsylvania. He has an additional Master's degree in Sports Science from the International Sports Science Association.
