Director of Hand Therapy

Chris Kuhlmann is a certified hand therapist with over ten years of experience in upper extremity rehabilitation.

Chris in currently involved with patient care as well as administrative duties. He recently developed a new division of Maryland SportsCare & Rehab called MSR Work Solutions, which focuses on functional testing and employer-workers compensation issues. Utilizing the BTE ER system, MSR Work Solutions offers employers post-offer screens, return to work evaluations and FCE’s.

Additionally, Chris has consulted with the Washington Capitals of the National Hockey League on sports-related hand injuries.

Chris holds three bachelor's degrees: a bachelor of science in biology from LeMoyne College, a bachelor of arts in psychology from the University of Buffalo and a bachelor of science in occupational therapy also from the University of Buffalo. Prior to joining the Maryland SportsCare & Rehab team, Chris worked at practices in Roanoke, Virginia and in the Baltimore area.
