Sofia Anagnos, DPT
Sofia Anagnos is Clinic Director of Professional SportsCare & Rehab's Vermont Avenue location in Washington, DC. In addition to treating patients, she is responsible for the day to day operations of the clinic
Prior to joining the Professional SportsCare & Rehab team, Sofia worked as a staff physical therapist at an outpatient physical therapy practice. She has experience working with Fairfax County Public Schools where she has screened sports teams for preventative injuries.
Sofia earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2008 after acquiring her Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences at James Madison University in 2005. She is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association.
It was through team members' injuries as well as personal and family experiences that Sofia became interested in the field of physical therapy. She was captain of her cross country and track teams in high school, competing at district, regional, and state levels. Currently, she enjoys running, boxing, and several outdoor activities.
